Our Process
Our unique building process is second to none! We understand the importance of each phase and how crucial communication is meeting your specific needs.
1) Discovery Phase
This involves a one-on-one discussion with Rodney. Instead of diving immediately into a particular project, a more personal approach is taken, asking about life interests, family info and other wants/needs. This stage is crucial in the process, as there are many ways project quality can be maximized and understanding your specific interests is paramount.
2) Design Phase
The Edwards team understands that the design phase can be very exciting, but also stressful. We will analyze the current plans you may have or even recommend designs if you need help with this decision. Changes to designs can be made on the spot, since we have a true understanding of structural design.
3) Value Engineering Phase
Once a design has been selected, a total project proposal is then created. This phase details the process of sharpening the project design and quality as well as figuring out ways to maximize cost savings. By consulting with experts in each field, we make sure you are getting the best possible pricing.
4) Construction Phase
Scheduling, client involvement, selection. Although this phase takes the longest amount of time, the previous phases will have helped eliminate any ambiguity or unknown issues. We will send continual updates during this process to ensure you are completely aware of the status of your new home’s construction. Most importantly, we are fully involved in every process and have the unique ability to adapt to any additions that may arise.
5) Service Phase
All of the previous time and effort culminates in this phase. The Edwards team is always present as the project is reviewed and completed. Because Edwards Builders is relationship-focused, communication does not end when you are handed the keys, warranty information and move-in package. We want to know that you are enjoying your new home or renovation.
